When should I order my wedding invitations?Six to nine months before your wedding date. This will give guest who need to travel time to make arrangements. If you don’t have all the details of your wedding at this stage you can issue save the date cards. This will allow your guest to make travel arrangements while you finish planning your wedding.
How formal do my wedding invitations need to be?
The style of wedding invitations you choose should create the mood for your wedding. Is your wedding traditional, formal, classic, beach, garden or your own blend of styles? Choose wedding invitations and stationery that reflects this mood.
Can you print my guests names on my invitations, place cards and envelopes?
Yes. There is an additional charge for guest names to be printed on invitations, and an additional charge for guest names on place cards and envelopes.
You should supply us with a word file or excel file with all names typed exactly as you would like them to be spelt and written. e.g. Mr & Mrs Smith, Leanne and Leslie Smith, Leanne & Leslie. And for place cards one name per line or cell, e.g. Leanne, Leslie, etc. etc. If you aren’t sure call us first!
How do I indicate on my invitations that the wedding and reception is for adult guests only?
You should generally not print “Adults Only” or “No Children” on an invitation. The way your invitations are addressed indicates who is and who is not (by omission) invited to attend the wedding.
If you feel some guests will not get the “hint” however, you may wish to print a line on your invitations stating “We respectfully ask that no children attend the reception”.
